Shane spent 20 years in police, after wanting to be a police officer since he was 8 when he witnessed an horrific crime. During his time in the police he was focussed on helping young people and trying his best to keeping them out of the criminal justice system, eventually becoming head of training for Greater Manchester Police. During the latter years he questioned himself, wondering if policing was the right place to help as many young people as possible, and decided he could do things better if he left and set up his own company, which is when Global Policing was born. Global Policing works with schools and organisations to help keep children safe, and to help them make more better informed choices.
